You will win travel reimbursements of:
2 000 € (1st prize)

Conditions for reimbursement:
– winners need to present their movie to a new audience at the place of visit and engage into a discussion with their public
– winners need to send a scan of receipts and original travel documents to contact@shiningstarsofeurope.eu before 31st December 2015.
– participants who’s travel, accommodation or food costs can be covered must be between 13 ad 30 years old. (for exceptions please contact contact@shiningstarsofeurope.eu)
– participants need to fill out a participation sheet (send to you by email)
Terms & Conditions of Participation
Participation is open for everybody worldwide (all nationalities).
Prizes can be won by people between 13 and 30 years of age at the time of traveling.
Deadline for submission for the third edition is 1st March 2015.
Contributions should not be longer than 90 seconds.
Participants declare that the work submitted does not infringe any third party’s rights such as copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets including musical composition or performance rights, video rights or image rights.
Participants declare that all visible participants in the video have acknowledged the present terms and conditions and consented to the video being displayed and broadcasted publicly. In case minors are visible, their parents must have acknowledged the present terms and conditions and agreed to their children appearing in the video.
The Video submitted for the contest, together with all the rights pertaining to it – including, where applicable, copyright, image rights, video rights and any other intellectual property right – is under the control of the Author whose rights are valid and legally existing, and the Organizer does not acquire any ownership rights in the work.
Authors or their legal guardians grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, free-of-charge, perpetual, worldwide licence to:
a. store, use and re-use the video, in whole or in part;
b. integrate and incorporate the video or parts of it into any existing or future work of the Organizer for promotional purposes;
c. distribute copies and cause the distribution of the video for promotional purposes;
d. display and broadcast the video publicly;
e. reproduce the video by any technical procedure into any physical medium – including metallic and paper media – or digital format, electronic or non-electronic;
The exercise of the rights granted to the Organizer hereunder is subject to the display by the Organizer of the following notice in due acknowledgement of the Author: © Author, Year
JURISDICTION
The exercise of the rights granted hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the European Union, complemented where necessary by the substantive laws of Luxembourg.
Selection of winners and prize awarding
20 finalists will be selected by an international and multidisciplinary Jury.
Finals will take place in March 2015 in Luxembourg and London.
If finalists want to join the Finals in Luxembourg or London, their travel expenses can be reimbursed to 75% up to a maximum of 300 €. In these cases, original travel documents (boarding passes, tickets etc.) and the corresponding receipts have to be sent to the organizers. Digital originals can be sent through email. In the case of very long distance travels, the maximum amount to be reimbursed may be increased. Minors have to be accompanied by an adult responsible for them during their travel; this responsibility is not covered by the organizer.
Winners will be selected through online voting, public voting and Jury Voting.
Voting weights are as follows: online voting: 20%; public voting: 40%; Jury voting: 40%
Travel reimbursements for winners, including accommodation and food costs can be made until 31st December 2015. Until that date, all relevant receipts and tickets need to be sent to the organizers with their due acknowledgement.
During their travels, winners shall present their video clip to a selected audience and, if possible, engage in a discussion about their idea presented in the video clip.
